Welcome to the Rafiki Media and Communications Agency. We are a modern multi-service media and communications production company based in Oslo, Norway. The Rafiki agency was started by Nicole Rafiki in 2013. We provide services to media outlets, businesses and organizations of all sizes. We have a large community involvement, think strategically and are keen to build relationships across different disciplines. 

Our founder and team leader, Nicole Rafiki, is a resourceful and independent journalist, author and entrepreneur. Rafiki has worked with a diverse clientele. In 2015 she was the guest editor of two out of four annual editions of Scandinavia's first independent cultural political journal, the Samora magazine. She has also contributed in Norway's largest newspaper Aftenposten and other newspapers and magazines such as Ny Tid, Verdensmagasinet X, Bistandsaktuelt and Drammens Tidende to name a few.

She has worked with communications in the Contact Committee for Immigrants and the Authorities (KIM) and NSB. Rafiki's work experience ranges from various press related work to social work with young refugees at a reception center for asylum seekers in the Oslo area.

She has also enganged in cultural work as an organizer. In 2014 she founded the cultural organization Afrikanske dager (African Days), which goal is to assist multicultural youth in Norway to develop their cultural talents. In 2015 she co-wrote the book "Malu får nye fletter" with Jemimah Yombo.

Nicole Rafiki has a bachelor's degree in Development studies from Oslo University college and a supplementary study in french language and culture from the University of Oslo. She has conducted a field study in Tanzania and a semester abroad at the prestigious University of Cape Town, South Africa. Rafiki is currently working on her Master thesis in Communications at the University of Agder.
